Use comparable measurements

Adipower 3 is described with a 22 mm heel lift; TYR lists 21 mm for its L-1 and L-2. These are useful starting points for a higher-heel comparison. Avoid substituting an outsole’s total heel thickness for the difference between heel and forefoot.

Evaluate the position the shoe creates

Compare a higher heel with your current setup during familiar squat or receiving positions. The larger number is not inherently the better choice. Foot proportions, the lift and your preferred stance all belong in the decision, and a shoe should not be presented as correcting an underlying mobility problem.
